Brewery coming to South Austin

On my last flight back to Austin from Indiana I met Dave Childress. Soon after I sat on a seat near his we started a conversation about our weekend travel and how good it feels to get back home after a long weekend. Later I found out that he's the one responsible for bringing in a new brewery to South Austin! It will be called Fast Friends Beer Co and it will be located east of I-35 just south of William Cannon. Construction is happening now and they plan to open in Spring of 2022. Some of the brews they plan to have include a hazy IPA, West Coast IPAs and potentially some hybrids however, the brewery's philosophy is to have "something for every palate" . They also plan to have a simple menu that focuses on a "concept of upscale tacos". South Austin keeps getting better and better. I look forward to their opening!
