Spring Cleaning Checklist

Here's a brief checklist to guide your spring cleaning efforts:

  1. Declutter: Start by going through each room and decluttering. Donate or discard items you no longer need or use.

  2. Dust Everything: Dust surfaces, shelves, light fixtures, and ceiling fans. Don't forget the tops of cabinets and door frames.

  3. Wash Windows: Clean windows inside and out for a clear view of the spring scenery.

  4. Deep Clean Floors: Vacuum carpets and rugs thoroughly. For hard floors, sweep and mop for a fresh shine.

  5. Kitchen Refresh: Clean appliances inside and out, including the oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Wipe down cabinets and countertops.

  6. Bathroom Overhaul: Scrub tiles, clean grout, and sanitize sinks, toilets, and showers. Replace old shower curtains or liners if needed.

  7. Dust and Polish Furniture: Give your furniture some love with a good dusting and polish.

  8. Freshen Linens: Wash curtains, drapes, and bedding. Don't forget to vacuum mattresses.

  9. Organize Closets: Sort through clothes, shoes, and accessories. Donate items you no longer wear and organize the rest.
